Anti Art Theft Stamp by Zeiphex Anti Art Theft Stamp by Zeiphex
EDIT: Guys, this is NOT a place to try to report your stolen art/art thieves to me. I am not an admin and cannot help you, nor will I take action on your behalf.

Well I had one similar to this on my old account and it was a big hit (You can find it here) so I thought 'New account, new stamp'. I've made it much sexier than the last one :P

Subscribers - if you like it use it in your journal and lets help stop art theives!

I want to put this on my page. Also, faving this! It's sad when you find out someone screwed you, but it sucks even more when the person who did it was someone close to you. Now I'm looking into watermarking all my art from here on out.

Thanks :) I've never had art stolen from me, but I have been screwed with my graphic design business, where people took work and then refused to pay me :c But we learn from things like that, and in my case I can't give new clients work before they've paid, and in your case, make sure to sign all your work in a spot that isn't easy to crop out. Watermarking is a little intrusive so don't do it unless you feel that you absolutely have to.

OK, I faved you ^^ I have experienced having my art stolen for the first time, I hope it won't happen anymore but I'd be a very dim bulb if I trusted that it won't! I was advised to simply report "silently" to the Admins (which I did) and yet some people feel we should take the opposite route and "pester" the crook until the piece in question is removed. I don't know. But I do know who one of the crooks is who stole my work! :(

I came very near deleting my account here, but I would really hate to do that, I have friends at dA and I am learning so many good things about stuff I need to know more about... If my account is deleted, there go all my connections...

I agree with your stamp completely. I'm so sick of seeing stolen work. In the past couple of months, I've come across pictures I've noticed were stolen, but I imagine at this point, dA is in over their heads with all of the report messages coming through every single day, hour, minute, etc. Lately, the only way to get the stolen work removed is to keep pestering (politely, of course) the "artist" until they finally give in and remove it. It won't always work though, especially if the thief happens to be a troll or a bratty little kid that wants to continue to be a brat and create more problems.

I have no sympathy for them in the end.

Anyway, great stamp. ^^
